About Stacey
My name is Stacey Carver. I have been showing consecutively since 6/16/07. I have taken handling lessons with Sue and Bill Burrell and herding lessons from Diane Manard of Black Birch Farm, and Jack of Coyote Hill.
I have been around dogs most of my life. My mum is a Professional Groomer, and worked in a Springer kennel in Fulton Missouri. I grew up with Akitas and German Shepherds. I started out in an English Springer kennel in Fulton Missouri, KingsRow with Judy Davis. Judy gave me the eyes and the idea of what a Springer should look like in my mind’s eye. "A dog that should be able to move to work not work to move". I showed a Glen of Imaal Terrier in Arba for a little bit when I moved out to the East Coast. I had stopped for the time being because my aunt did not wish to keep showing. I got back into showing because of Maura Doyle of Shamrock Springers, I give her thanks for letting me co-own one of her girls (Darcy). I am willing to help anyone around the ring. I have found that handling different breeds of dogs with varied attitudes has helped me become more rounded and sometimes, if and when necessary, troubleshoot problems that might arise. I worked with Juli Lacey-Black every weekend from 2007 - 2010, she helped me come a long way with how I present a dog to how I get a dog ready for the ring. If you wish to meet our dogs, please feel free to ask about our Sport schedule. Thank you for visiting my website. |
Our Border Collies
I have forever been in love with the Border Collies. I looked for a long time to fine what I wanted in the breed, and came across tattie. My dogs are my partners at work and at home. Our Border Collies are all rounder's. They are socialized with cats, other breeds of dogs, live stock and children. Most the time they can be seen going to work or out and about with me. Every dog gets there own time with me and everyone one sleeps lose in the house in their own space, which tends to be on my bed. My Border Collies are my pets first and foremost, my show and work dogs second. I make sure everyone has their health clearness before breeding, Hips, Elbows, Eyes, CEA, CL, and TNS.
